I am very lucky to live to see sunflowers; such a magical expression of sun-power! They personalize and embody and make us aware of the sun, in case we forget what a wonderful, powerful, living orbit is.

And so did Van Gogh...he is the one who ever painted them to the real substance. When I look at his sunflowers, I feel the warm radiation of the sun. They are not just flowers; they are a miracle. I painted a few sunflowers, to Van Gogh's memory and as a homage to him.
